Many of us have minor or niggling worries with our health which we keep meaning to see the doctor about or just never quite get around to treating. They may seem minor but it always pays to keep on top of your health problems before they get any worse.
Treating plantar fasciitis or getting your bunions done may seem a drag which is why we tend to put it off. We also often cannot face having to wait in the doctors surgery which is always full of sick people who might give us even worse germs!
But making the effort to get minor ailments treated contributes to our overall health and in any case, why suffer pain when in most cases these illnesses or conditions are so easy to treat?
Having regular health checks also plays a large part in keeping you healthy and you should take advantage of any that are offered free on the NHS. Whether it is breast screening, prostrate checks, eye checks or heart and lung, snap up whatever is on offer as early detection gives you a much better chance of a cure.
So stop ignoring that bad back, the aching toe or the headaches and get yourself down to the doctor and try to get to the root of what is causing your pain.
